You will enjoy a home cooked, plant based, meal in the heart of our sanctuary, surrounded by our herd of rescued elephants. You will catch glimpses of them living life on their own terms and in their own time, roaming freely through the stunning landscape they call home - a place built entirely around their wellbeing.

What to expect from your day
9:00 am — We come to you: Our driver will collect you from your hotel or guesthouse in Sukhothai. Our minivan is air conditioned and very comfortable, allowing you to sit back and enjoy the ride! The journey will be approximately an hour.
When you arrive at BLES, you will receive a warm welcome from BLES Founder Katherine Connor (Kat) and her rescued dogs! BLES is a family, and from the moment you step out of the vehicle, you will feel enveloped in acceptance.
Lunch with a view: After a welcome drink and chat with Kat, you will walk through the forest in search of the elephants. A delicious, home-cooked, healthy, plant-based picnic will be served to you in the forest. As you eat, nature surrounds you — and so, quite possibly, will the elephants. you will observe them moving freely through the trees around you at their own unhurried pace. There are no fences between you and the experience, only the natural respect that keeps both you and the elephants safe and at ease.
Time to simply be: BLES is also home to an ever growing menagerie of animals in need. We have cats and dogs that love to be cuddled and a variety of comfortable spaces for you to relax in, including a spacious pavilion, an air conditioned reading room and even a small gift shop, should you feel the need to indulge in some retail therapy!
3:00 pm — See you again (we hope): When the day draws to a close, our driver will take you back to your hotel in Sukhothai. Departing BLES will be hard, but you will be leaving with abundance of magical memories and a longing to return.

Per person:
4,000 Baht per adult
2,500 Baht per child (under 12)
To keep the experience intimate and low-impact for our elephants and other rescued animals, we welcome a minimum of two and a maximum of six guests per day.
